Applications are now open for Delta Dental of Oklahoma (DDOK) Foundation’s 2027 grant program, which will provide millions of dollars in grants and in-kind support to organizations working to improve oral health across the state.

Eligible initiatives include free and low-cost dental care clinics, training and scholarships for future dental professionals, and oral health education and outreach programs for children and adults.

“Our Foundation’s grant program helps makes dental care more accessible to those who need it most,” said John Gladden, president and CEO of Delta Dental of Oklahoma. “By supporting initiatives designed to improve oral health education and lower barriers to dental care, Delta Dental of Oklahoma aims to strengthen communities across our state and make a lasting difference in the lives of our fellow Oklahomans.”

All grant applications must be submitted by Monday, October 12. Interested grant applicants can review eligibility requirements and apply for a 2027 grant at DDOKFoundation.org/grants.

In 2026 alone, DDOK Foundation is projected to award more than $10 million to support 71 oral health initiatives across the state. Grantees include AutismOklahoma, Crossings Community Clinic, ReMerge of Oklahoma County, Compassion Outreach Center, Catholic Charities of Eastern Oklahoma, technical colleges and state universities, among many others.

Community Health Centers of Oklahoma was a first-time DDOK Foundation grant recipient in 2026. The $40,000 grant helped support the organization’s efforts to provide dental care to uninsured and unhoused patients across central Oklahoma.

“We serve Oklahomans of all ages, including patients experiencing homelessness, and sometimes we don’t have the funding to provide the care they need,” said LaTonya Shelton-Miller, dental director for Community Health Centers of Oklahoma. “Our partnership with Delta Dental of Oklahoma Foundation has been incredibly helpful in bridging that gap. Because of this support, we’ve been able to provide dental care to many patients who otherwise may not have had the resources to receive it.”
